Blossom and Peep

I have photos of them! Not the best, and eventually I will have better ones. But here are my two little rat girls, Blossom and Peep.

Aren't they adorable? Aren't Blossom's little dumbo ears so damned cute?! Ahh... I love my little ratties. I took Blossom out last evening, the first time I actually hold either of them. She pooped quite a bit, panicked she was, but that didn't deter me. Eventually she was snuggled up in my hair, and then against my neck. She didn't really want to go back in the cage after though XD Kept trying to climb up my arm.

Anywho... this librarian has at least a dozen ILL's (inter-library loans, folks) to send out and I best get on them all!

I'm just lucky I guess haha... long time coming though. I've wanted to be surrounded by animals like this for years, but have only been able to do it in the last few months.

I named Blossom as I was walking home with them in the box, I kept passing all these gorgeous trees in blossom, and was in wonder at their life and beauty, and thought the same of the little white rat in my box.

And Peep... to be honest I was a little stumped, and then noticed a box of Peeps on my table that I never got around to eating, and since she peeps out at me a lot... I named her Peep haha...

LOL Yes, they have a purple castle. Everybody tells me Peep's name is awesome XD even my mom said it.

Haha thank you :3 My spiders tend to frighten people though, so I suppose that's understandable.
