I looked up all the spiders, and god the Heteroscodra maculata is so stunning. I've never seen a spider like that before, didn't know it was possible. Which one grows to be nearly a foot?
The snakes completely stole my heart, especially the little hognose. If I ever get a snake, a hognose would be my first choice, even though I love ball pythons too.
